We look forward to connecting with you at the Beyond the Clock Virtual Happy Hour on Tuesday, May 14th from 4-5pm CDT, where we will continue to build on our conversation with Donna Neuwirth from our April Beyond the Clock, during which we moved into a reflective conversation about what it means to “archive” our work.
Join the Department of Public Transformation (DoPT) at the first of four Activate Rural Public Workshops in Granite Falls, MN!
Application due date is June 5th, 2024 at 11:59pm CDT.
Please join us for a happy hour reception and learning exchange at The Sky Suite @ Keller Center at the University of Chicago in support of Department of Public Transformation—a nonprofit organization working at the intersection of creativity, civic life, and change in communities across rural America.
In this conversation, Donna will share stories of co-founding and growing Wormfarm Institute, their practice of "get dirty, eat well, and make art," and invite us to consider questions such as: How do we prepare for a change of seasons? And, what does the land have to tell us and teach us about transitions?
If you are interested in expanding your community engagement activities and building out physical spaces that inspire, motivate, gather, and open up possibilities for your community, then join us at this virtual information session to learn about upcoming Activate Rural opportunities!
We look forward to connecting with you at the Beyond the Clock Virtual Happy Hour on Tuesday, March 12th from 4-5pm CST, where we will continue to build off the offering Savannah Barrett shared with us at our February BTC event: “I have always felt called to contribute to this place’s reimagining and I have always felt terrified of that calling."
